Position Purpose

  • This role will involve supporting the busy OXBO and Executive Lounge team, being responsible for achieving revenue and Key Performance Indicators, guest and employee satisfaction and financial performance of the department.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the management of all aspects and functions of the food and beverage operation throughout the restaurant and executive lounge in accordance with the brand standards.
  • Analyse guest insights to identify and meet customer expectations.
  • Supervise and co-ordinate daily operation of beverage set-ups and service to ensure client specifications have been met, liaise with kitchen and F&B Manager to cover all aspects.
  • Provide food and beverage service to guests in a professional and courteous manner consistent with established standards and levels of excellence
  • Consistent check of food and beverage quality, and presentation.
  • Monitor costs on a daily basis and work closely with the Restaurant Manager.
  • Control effective purchasing and ordering activities to optimise service and profit performance.
  • Control restaurant processes including stock, finances and beverage menu selection
  • Direct day-to-day staffing levels to cover business demands.
  • Participation and input towards F&B Marketing activities.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant governmental regulations and certifications.

Person Specification

  1. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Preferred –

  •  Exceptional –
    • Ability to speak additional languages is highly desirable
    • Strong leadership skills; having worked in a supervisory role previously is an advantage
    • Excellent planning and organizing skills, ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
  1. Proven Experience/Education Level
  • Previous experience working in Food & Beverage, preferably within luxury hotel properties
  • Record of success in F&B, specifically the ability to deliver profit, control costs, and build customer loyalty
