Position Commitment

  • 40 Hours per week
  • Role can be based in Heathrow, Gatwick or Central London at our Risborough Street Offices in Southwark.
  • Very Competitive Salary, 20 Days Annual Leave + Bank Holidays + 20% Bonus

We are looking for a Cluster Sales Manager to cover three key hotels. You will be a Sales Executive or Manager in a single property or multi property role. You will be excited by driving business in to three completely different hotels in airport locations. Your role will include but not limited to, building a pipeline of opportunities, local account management, telephone prospecting as well as heading up projects to drive top line revenue for three Splendid Family hotels.

Reporting to the Regional Director of Sales you will be provided with excellent learning & development opportunities along the way not to mention making your own learning and development commitments every day.

Working with intermediaries and direct bookers you will maintain and convert a consistent pipeline of opportunities, be an ambassador of the Splendid Family and be prepared to travel nationally visiting hotels, stakeholders or prospective decision makers.

Position Purpose

  • Plan and execute effective sales activity for the hotels to ensure they deliver consistent and predictable top line results. 

Key Responsibilities

  • To be fully accountable and responsible for delivering top line budget for the cluster of branded hotels.
  • Take an extremely proactive approach to generate new business for the cluster of hotels and build strong and lasting relationships with existing clients to grow market share.
  • Plan and execute effective sales activities for all hotels within the cluster working to achieve each hotels unique market segmentation.
  • Work with the cluster revenue support to grow market share and deliver RGI targets at all hotels.
  • To deliver growth in key market segments in line with the individual hotels budget and pipeline target.
  • Actively engage with the brand sales teams and be a brand ambassador for SHG promoting the wider portfolio.
  • Driving loyalty and repeat business through effective account management.
  • To represent the hotel in various trade shows and other industry events.
  • A focus on generating new business leads.

  • Having strong emotional intelligence.


Desired

  • An understanding of the Corporate, MICE & Leisure markets in the hospitality industry.
  • Proficiency in Brilliant, Opera, FOLS and Salesforce.
  • At least 1 year in a proactive sales role either from a hotel background or similar
  • Airport market experience could be a distinct advantage.
