A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Housekeeper to join our Housekeeping Team

The role of Housekeeper is to ensure all guest bedrooms are serviced to the highest standards and ready to let for our guest to enjoy a wonderful experience throughout their stay.

Key Responsibilities

  • To complete all required Housekeeping Tasks on a day to day basis
  • To ensure all guest bedrooms are fully serviced within the allotted timescale (Check Outs – 30mins per room / Stay Overs – 20mins per room)
  • To ensure your designated cleaning basket is clean & fully equipped with required equipment during every shift
  • To complete all Job of the Day tasks when informed by the Housekeeping Manager
  • To complete all required Chemical Checks every morning at the start of shift
  • To transfer all dirty laundry and bags through the hotel to the designated Laundry Storage
  • To transfer all clean laundry received from delivery company to the designated storage cupboards and place in an organised manner
  • To be fully compliant with all COSHH procedures in line with Health & Safety Requirements
  • To complete all required training modules via the Flow Training Module Systems.
  • To complete the required Strategic Performance Management development programme during your employment

Person Specification

1. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Previous experience working as a Hotel Room Attendant or above
  • Have good communication skills both verbal & written
  • Exceptional customer service
  • Empathy for your colleagues
  • Attention to detail
  • Effective organisational skills
  • Confident and professional
  • Self-motivated, hardworking and a team player
  • Have a smart appearance
  • Punctual, reliable and flexible
  • Willingness to improve and develop their skills set within the hotel

2. Proven Experience/Education Level

  • High school diploma or relevant field will be a plus

To be successful the ideal Hotel Housekeeper will be well organised and takes pride in the completing the job to the highest standards as well as having a flexible approach and being able to adapt quickly to change. You should have the ability to anticipate guest needs, immaculate presentation, be punctual, reliable and professional with the ability to work happily.
