Night Manager

Position Purpose

  • The Night Manager will represent the Management during the night. The Night Manager also assists the Front Of House Manager in all aspects of the department including but not limited to operations, planning, budgeting, staffing and payroll in accordance with hotel policies and procedures. The Night Manager provides leadership and support to all members of the Front Office and enforces the Hotels Standards of Excellence in all areas supervised

Key Responsibilities

  • Direct & oversee all hotel operations throughout the night shift to ensure guest satisfaction and safety
  • Conduct staff briefing for all staff during the night shift
  • Directing the night business: maintaining, reviewing and coordinating the operation
  • Overseeing all front office accounting & financial procedures, night team duties and business transactions 

Person Specification

1. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • A positive approach, excellent organisational skills, and a passion for producing high quality customer care.
  • Driven and ambitious to inspire the team to consistently deliver & exceed service standards
  • Clear thinker with excellent communication skills
  • Strong working knowledge of Opera Management system or a similar system

2. Proven Experience/Education Level

  •   Previous hotel experience essential
  •  Proven experience of managing a team
