Position Purpose

To provide our guests with the highest level of customer service and care, and ensure this is consistent with every guest that comes into our hotel. 

Ensuring all procedures and checklists are completed in in a timely manner.

Meeting the required targets for loyalty program enrolments and up-sells.


Key Responsibilities

  • To provide all our guests with the highest level of Customer Care.
  • To carry out Check In and Check out procedures in a seamless manner
  • To ensure all guests receive prompt attention and personal recognition, meeting expectations with regards to all special requests. Keeping guests up to date with developments concerning inquiries/complaints they have made.
  • Be proactive in up selling and promoting all aspects of the hotel to ensure individual and team targets are met.
  • Be vigilant and aware regarding all Health & Safety issues. 
  • Ensure that all charges have been posted correctly, all forms are completed for refunds, and that the banking, floats and balancing are correct for your shift.
  • Give a comprehensive handover using the handover document and live Excel sheet to the next team in the back office.
  • Work closely with all other departments to ensure excellent communication among all areas and be proactive and willing to assist other departments when the business requires.
  • When necessary help in other departments such as F&B for the smooth run of the business and operations.
  • Multi-skilled both reception and F&B
  • Have a desire and ability to improve your own knowledge and abilities through on-going training, and undertake all mandatory trainings as required (e.g. first aid, health and safety, customer service)
  • Work as part of a diverse team with colleagues from different points of view, cultures and countries.

Friendly, warm and welcoming to everyone

Excellent interpersonal skills, including a good telephone manner

Ability to remain calm during difficult situations or in a very busy environment

Ability to work well in a team and be self-motivated to complete tasks

Good time keeping, communication and administrative skills


  •  Preferred - 

IT literacy - intermediate user knowledge of Microsoft Office (including outlook) and experience using internet portals.

Prior Customer Service experience in the hospitality industry in Accor properties and Ibis in particular will be an advantage.

Experience using FOLS.

Use of FOLS and/or Agent cash.
