Key Responsibilities:

    • To maintain high standards of customer care.
    • Implement both absolute and department food standards.
    • Ensure correct mis-en-place is ready for service and following day.
    • Assist other sections where possible during preparation and/or service.
    • Ensure all aspects of food hygiene and assured safe catering are adhered to.

Person Specification

1.  Knowledge, skills and abilities

  • Right to work in the UK
  • Strong customer awareness and focus
  • Able to work flexibly to suit the hours (various shift patterns) & needs of the kitchen
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills to effectively deal with team and customers
  • Ability to work and interact well as part of a team
  • Sound organisational skills with the ability to identify and juggle priorities

2.  Proven experience/education level

  • Previous kitchen experience is essential
  • Previous experience in a luxury environment is preferable
