Reception Supervisor

Reception Supervisor will supervise the efficient operation of the department and will be responsible for ensuring that the highest standards of guest care are maintained at all times, as well as ensuring all procedures and processes are followed by reception team members. This role will support the Reception Manager in delivering efficient and friendly service by the reception team.

Your role in our family:

Key responsibilities to your role: 

  • Overall supervision of the Reception shift and team maintaining consistently high standards of customer service and maximisation of rooms revenue
  • Responsible for departmental training of existing and new team members
  • Responding to all customer queries in a polite, friendly and efficient manner. Dealing with complaints within bounds of responsibility
  • To ensure all Front office procedures are adhered to
  • To ensure a smart appearance of all Front Desk staff at all times and that the correct uniform is worn
  • Assisting Reception Manager with duties and tasks as required
  • Performs check ins and check outs and actively participates in creating luxury guest journey at all touch points of their stay

Person Specification:

  • Previous hotel reception experience required
  • Previous experience in customer service role required
  • Knowledge of Opera reservation system required
  • Friendly, confident and outgoing personality
  • Effective communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Great organisational skills
  • Team Player
