Set in the heart of Bankside, just steps from some of London’s most famous landmarks such as Tate Modern, Borough Market and The Shard. Hilton London Bankside is home to 292, and one beautiful penthouse apartment, which boasts its own private roof terrace, a 100m2 entertainment area and views across the London skyline.

The hotel also brings a new neighbourhood eatery, the OXBO Bankside Restaurant, to the area, alongside The Distillery, a cool and casual bar. As well as, the breath-taking 570m² ballroom, and stunning event rooms space which can accommodate a variety of events, from small and intimate, to larger-scale, more spectacular celebrations and gala dinners, catering from 8 to 700 guests.

We are now looking for a Receptionist to join the incredible team at our 5* Hilton, London Bankside.

Key Responsibilities

  • To have the talent and ability to deliver an outstanding service consistently.
  • To assist guests efficiently, courteously and professionally in all Front Office related matters and areas including Reception, Switchboard and all relevant guest facing areas.
  • To maintain a high standard of service and quality delivery at all times; when answering telephones, registering guests, assigning rooms, checking out guests and assisting in any guest requests.
  • To have the ability to multitask, work under pressure and be organised.
  • To have the ability to remain calm during difficult situations or in a very busy environment
  • To ensure all guest complaints or issues are quickly resolved maintaining high quality guest service.
  • To administer cash and floats in an accurate manner.
  • To undertake all training as required (e.g. first aid, health and safety, customer service).

  1.  Knowledge, skills and abilities
  • Makes responsible decisions for the company and the guest
  • Can communicate clearly in a variety of communication settings and styles

  • Must be able to work on full time basis including weekends


  1.  Proven experience/education level
  • Previous customer service experience in hospitality industry
  • Degree in Hospitality/Tourism is preferred
  • Second language is preferred
