Reservation Supervisor, Holiday Inn, Wembley

A Reservations Supervisor oversees the Reservations Team and how it performs routine procedures in order to maximise revenue and Guest satisfaction. As Reservations Supervisor you will play a pivotal role in the room's revenue team within the wider hotel commercial team, developing and driving revenue strategies to optimise all available space within the property

Your role in our family:

Within your role, you will:

  • Maintain IHG systems, assist in revenue generation through business processes such as system balancing, group wash. 
  • Ensure all team members are properly trained on systems and service standards. 
  • Working with Hotel and Revenue team to prepare budget and strategy
  • Support daily departments tasks in absence of Reservations & Groups / M&E Manager
  • Ensure all relevant reporting are updated in regular basis and ensure SMART actions are agreed and follow up.
  • Ensure all telephone calls are answered courteously and efficiently
  • Take reservations for bedrooms according to Hotel standard and enter into the system
  • Quote according to supply and demand and future potential revenue gain
  • Communicate constantly with Reception and F&B departments to ensure the smooth check-in and stay
  • Produce and check daily reports, ensuring that the previous day’s reservations are accurate, and confirmations are sent.
  • Keep regularly up to date with any IHG training

Who we are looking for:

  • A great communicator and team player
  • Previous Reservations and / or supervisory experience
  • Ideally previous knowledge of Opera, Perform, with excellent excel experience
  • Good level of spoken and written English
