Reservations Agent

We are now looking for a talented and enthusiastic Reservations Agent to join the Reservations team at the award-winning Hilton London Bankside.

Position Purpose

We are looking for a passionate individual with excellent confidence and personality to ensure that reservations are dealt with effectively and to carry out effective room merchandising to maximize room revenue. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to move into reservation and learn from a close-knit, friendly team with the benefit of a big brand behind you.

Key Responsibilities

As a Reservations Agent your key areas of responsibility will include:

  • Be the main point of contact for all incoming guest queries and requests
  • To ensure that reservations are dealt with in an efficient and pleasant manner.
  • To be fully conversant with the facilities, services and special promotions offered by the hotel and to pass this information on to the guest whenever the possibility arises in order to maximize hotel sales.
  • To be fully conversant with OnQ PM in order to input reservations in the system without any backlog.
  • To communicate with all relevant departments at all times and assist where necessary.
  • To check all correspondence in connection with reservations and deal with accordingly.
  • To run the arrival check and ensure all traces and comments are up-to-date
  • To work in accordance with the rooms strategy/top line actions.
  • To develop and maintain good working relationships with all departments in the hotel.

Person Specification

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities


  • Strong customer awareness and focus.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills to effectively deal with customers.
  • Well-groomed and presentable with excellent written and spoken English
  • Ability to work and interact well as part of a team.
  • High level of IT proficiency


  • Previous experience with OnQ PM

Proven Experience/Education Level

  • Demonstrated previous experience working in the hospitality sector
