Revenue Data Analyst - Accor Hotels

We are now looking for Revenue Data Analyst for our Accor hotels division, within Splendid Hospitality Group. This is a fantastic opportunity to support existing, successful businesses along with new acquisitions and openings as part of a flourishing Revenue Team.

Position Purpose

  • Supporting the Divisional Revenue and Leadership team, you will be responsible for providing relevant analysis to guide the revenue management teams to formulate appropriate pricing strategies, towards the goal of increasing market share and maximising revenues on all Accor properties.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain a standardised reporting suite to support hotels and above property teams.
  • Analyse results of strategies and tactics, to guide future activity.
  • Provide analysis of major distribution channels to ensure that the hotels are maximizing revenue and marketing exposure.
  • Work with all relevant business intelligence tools to gather market intelligence to support the revenue team.
  • Develop market segmentation analysis, for evaluating the current business mix strategies and where appropriate making recommendations on how these could be improved.
  • Support Revenue and Divisional Leadership team with analysis, contract preparations, negotiations and pricing.
  • Support total revenue forecasting & budget process, by both providing advance market insight to support the business planning process and reviewing the quality of the output.
  • Assisting with the bi-yearly audit process.
  • Working closely with the commercial team to contribute relevant and correct information for negotiations to meet client needs and budgets while considering profitability and the company's other interests.
  • Provide analysis for the front office teams to maximise revenue from upselling, no-show, cancellation and sell out efficiency.
  • To maintain strong links with the commercial function (sales, marketing and PR) provide insight and information that drives commercial activity.
  • Monitor competitor pricing and understand the dynamics of the market using this insight to manage impact on RGI.
  • Support divisional projects, initiatives and implementations
  • Travel to hotels within area of responsibility to conduct face to face as required or directed.

Person Specification

1. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Preferred -

  • Ability to demonstrate understanding of core Revenue Management concepts
  • Highly numerate
  • Strong excel and BI Systems skills (i.e. Pivot tables, VLookups)
  • UK citizen or valid work permit

 Exceptional -

  • Experience of a variety of hotel PMS systems
  • SQL experience
  • Knowledge of Perform, IDeas or another market leading revenue management system
  • Valid driving license

2. Proven Experience/Education Level

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent data analytics experience
  • Good written and verbal English
