Room Attendant Part Time

We are looking for an enthusiastic person to join our existing 5 star Splendid Family on a part-time basis, 20 hours including weekends and evenings.

Full training will be given for all housekeeping procedures including our 5 star turndown service.

You must be flexible with your availability as our business needs fluctuates.

Position Purpose

  •  To have rooms cleaned to the highest of standards Here at the Grand we pride ourselves on offering the highest of standards whilst maintaining a professional manner at all times.

Key Responsibilities

  • Your main duties will be to clean all rooms to the highest of standards for our extremely important guests arrivals.
  • To service guests rooms to a high standard
  • Replenish any stock that the guest may of used
  • Strip & make beds to a quality standard following the methods outlined in training.
  • Service of bathrooms, empty bins & clean bath/shower, basin, toilet & floors, vacuum rooms floors & corridors & to polish & dust all surfaces using all appropriate chemicals & tools.
  • To keep trollies & service areas tidy at all times.
  • Remove & dispose of rubbish.
  • Report any guest facilities to maintenance
  • Follow all Health & Safety & COSHH procedures.

 1. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  •  Preferred -
    •        Have a proven track record within a luxury hotel
    •        Have a warm personality & a can do attitude.
    •        Good Health & Safety knowledge
    •        Be flexible & able to multi task
    •        Good communication
  •  Exceptional -
    •        Have a proven track record within a luxury hotel
    •        Previous room attendant experience
    •        Previous 4 or 5 star hotel knowledge
