Sales Business Partner - Full Service

In this brand new Sales Business Partner - Full Service role, you will partner with the Executive, Sales and Marketing teams in developing and implementing both sales and marketing strategies for our Full Service Portfolio. You will be accountable for ensuring top line results are achieved across all revenue streams, tactical plans are created and implemented, and results are monitored and achieved.

The role is centred around partnering with sales teams so you will need to have strong communication skills and the ability to influence. You will also have experience in delivering budgets, forecasting and delivering sales and wider business plans

Key Responsibilities

  • Be responsible for delivering budgeted revenue across Full Service Hotels. This includes rooms, F&B, M&E and other. 
  • Support, coach and develop all on property team members in relation to achieving the above target. As a minimum, this will result in all on property Sales and any Group sales support attaining competence & confidence in relation to several agreed objectives.
  • To drive revenue performance and market share through effectively communicating, challenging and collaborating with brands and actively source new business from core market segments for each property.
  • Work with the marketing support to ensure that each Hotel has an effective marketing & PR plan that supports budget delivery and asset value and that this marketing plan is reviewed monthly.
  • Ensure that each Hotel is actively working within their community and supporting local charities to ensure that they are recognised as an important part of the areas success.
  • Support the delivery of Guest service metrics in each Hotel through evaluation of Brand tools, Social media feedback and talking to real guests.
  • Support and drive as required, Global SHG acitivites and initiatives

Person Specification

1. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Responsible for delivering the top line sales goals for each hotel and ensuring the activities of Hotel sales and Group support are focused on acheving this.
  • Be able to identify per property the continuous sales pipeline for self and sales managers in the division.
  • Work with Brand revenue teams to continuosly research competitor properties to obtain market and rate intelligence and and understanding of business trends, the competition and their key accounts. Utilize this intelligence to develop strategic plans, ensure the hotel remains competitive and identify potential business to target.
  • Deliver the right segments for the right hotel to support the above.
  • Work with MD, and Brand to align and devise strategies and tactics to retain and grow business and support revenue maximisation.
  • Support preparation of annual budgets, prepare business plans and sales and marketing plans.
  • Be able to clearly talk about what has been won, what is pipeline and what is target. For rooms, F&B, M&E and Social. Using Sales Force and ensuring own and teams activities are fully up to date.

2. Proven Experience/Education Level

  • A minimum of 5 years experience within sales with at least 2 years in a regional role.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
  • Proven results at exceeding budget and market share.
  • Ability to coach a team through a high support, high challenge environment.
