Sales Manager

Due to the recent £15M development of an additional 100 bedrooms we are looking for a dynamic and experienced sales manager to join our team to drive business from the local and regional area.

Position Purpose

To be focused on driving corporate meetings, banqueting, Christmas events and will account manage, maintain and grow new and existing corporate accounts.

Key Responsibilities

  • To have a full and fast flowing pipeline of business opportunities across various segments
  • To be the face of the hotel in the local and regional corporate world
  • To develop, maintain and implement a robust sales activity plan across various segments

Person Specification

Ideal characteristics:

  • A natural “go getter” of business, born motivator, upbeat and enthusiastic.
  • A self-motivated, driven, results orientated and proactive attitude.
  • Displays high integrity and honesty
  • Curious 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Has a pro-active sales background
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbally and written.
  • Proven experience of delivering new business
  • The ability to build relationships quickly
  • Collaboration and team work
  • Full, clean driving licence.

Experience of Opera and Salesforce preferred.

Industry experience either hotel or agency based would be preferential but not essential.
