Salary: 12.21 per hour

Located in the heart of Bristol's Old City, the hotel is right by the waterside, within easy walking distance of the prime cultural, business and shopping districts. This boutique style hotel includes 116 uniquely designed guest rooms. 

Our hotel is currently operating under a government exclusive use contract, and we are providing our great facilities to residents on a long-term stay basis. Due to this exclusive contract the hotel is closed to the public and is operating under a different model to your usual hotel operation.

Job Description

The Mercure Bristol Brigstow hotel is looking for a part-time Maintenance Technician to work 2-3 days per week to effectively deliver both a preventative and reactive maintenance schedule for the hotel. As a member of our Maintenance team, you will develop strong working relationships with the hotel operations teams in order to maintain high standards by completing tasks effectively, and within allocated timescales. With a strong guest orientation and care, you will take ownership of ensuring full compliance with Health and Safety legislation and the company’s policies and procedures. This role reports to the Maintenance Manager.

  • Being able to carry out tasks both independently and as part of a team.
  • General knowledge of fields such us electrical, mechanical and plumbing, Health and Safety would be desirable.
