Job Description

Reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer, the Group Head of Strategic Planning and Integration will be responsible for co-ordinating and integrating strategic initiatives and projects across the business, and enabling the Board to oversee and steer delivery. By influencing and networking across the business, you will ensure projects are aligned with the strategy and prioritised by the Board, and answer a clear business need / problem, ensure that relevant options have been considered and that the ensuing projects are executed effectively so that they are delivered on time, to scope and to budget.

You will use your strong business acumen to ensure projects unlock a business benefit. You will be pragmatic and collaborative to make sure projects are delivered in a timely fashion. You will also develop reporting tools (using software where appropriate) to ensure there is good quality tracking and reporting of projects.

Role in our Family

The Role:

  • Planning - working with the Board to align business priorities / OKRs to the strategy and identify/ codify strategic projects for execution. Design & implement effective planning processes.
  • Prioritisation - enable the Board/s to sequence matters and delivery, based on projects’ timelines and assessment of benefits and delivery capacity.
  • Integration - design and facilitate discussions with cross-functional stakeholders to plan, implement, resolve project related risks / issues / dependencies. Act as liaison between divisions and functions to ensure projects are executed effectively. Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure smooth integration and minimise disruption.
  • Internal consultant for projects / leads - Support project leaders to plan project delivery and define key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of planning and integration efforts. Act as the key point of contact for business transformation related matters and provide advice to project leaders.
  • Project delivery - establish consistent methodology for project delivery and reporting.
  • Change management, project governance and progress reporting - track, analyse, and report on the progress of projects. Develop, implement, and maintain robust project governance structures, policies, and procedures, providing clear sibility of key decisions. Maintain a programme level view of planned change activity, identify hot-spots and dependencies, enable the board/s to sequence delivery and resolve escalated issues.

About you: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related discipline; a Master’s degree is strongly preferred.
  • Extensive experience in strategic planning, business integration, or senior-level project management.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead through influence, with strong leadership and cross-functional stakeholder management capabilities.
  • High emotional intelligence (EQ), with the ability to build trust, resolve conflict, and drive collaboration across diverse teams.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with strong negotiation and interpersonal effectiveness.
  • Proven track record of managing and delivering complex, cross-functional initiatives with multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills, with a structured approach to problem-solving.
  • Proficiency in project planning and integration tools (e.g. ERP systems, Microsoft Project, Monday.com, or similar platforms).
  • Solid understanding of risk assessment, mitigation strategies, and change management principles.
  • Experience working with data analytics platforms and performance tracking tools to inform strategy and decision-making.
  • Expertise in process optimisation; familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, or equivalent methodologies is highly desirable.
