Job Description

We are looking for a Reservations Manager to join our Newly Opened Four Points Express, located in Euston.
The ideal candidate will be customer focused and need to possess first class communication and interpersonal skills have a passion for hospitality and customer experience, strong team leader, fun and approachable & an asset to the management team.

• Maximise occupancy levels by reviewing and following revenue strategies implemented by the Regional Revenue Manager
• Supporting the Hotel Management team
• Head up Group and Individual Bookings at the hotel, from enquiry to arrival ensuring a smooth guest journey
• Manage third party sites and agents to ensure proper implementation of reservations procedures, and maximise conversion ratios in order to achieve targets for the department
• Contribute to the selling strategy of the hotel, and manage the departments' adherence to achieving that strategy
• Implement processes to ensure an effective reservations function

• Ensure Team Members are trained effectively and generate a culture of high-quality standards for relationship building, customer service, selling techniques, and billing and processing contracts

• Build strong relationships with guests, agents, partners and Team Members in order to gain full understanding of their needs and work to serve them effectively
• Assist in the recruiting, managing, training and developing of the Reservation Team
• Participate in the organisation of hotel promotional activities

Role in our Family

Key responsibilities to your role:
• Manage the Reservations department.
• Collaborate closely with the reception team to ensure that all guest requirements are taken care of before their arrival at the hotel.
• Serve as the main point of contact for Guests Reservations and bookings.
• Respond to guest queries efficiently and effectively.
• Actively lead and participate in Marriott Bonvoy enrollment.
• Effectively communicate with all departments of the Hotel

Personal Specifications:
• Previous reservations experience
• Previous leading experience
• Knowledge of Opera PMS system.
• Effective communication skills
• Attention to detail.
• Great organisational skills
• Team Player
• A motivated and focused individual who takes it on board to drive themselves.
